So the weekend is over, and I have started recovering after the 6th. Bedrock Rockabilly weekender in Denmark. It was an event with a lot of great hot-rods and customcars and many great rock'n'roll bands!! The dirttrack race was cool as always, lots of entertainment!! Here is my pictures from the event, so you can see a how we are doing it here in Denmark! The weather was nice and dry, but a bit cloudy saturday. But when I look at how quick we got fried sunday morning when the sun came, I dont complain about the clouds from saturday!! Thanks to the crew behind the event for a really great weekend!!! Here is a videoclip and a lot of pictures from the event: Monster custom pick-up racing: More pictures can be found here in my album at fotki: http://www.fotki.com/mikaelmtb Just a few teasers: As you can seen then I lost my hinges (They broke) friday nite during some racing in the gravel pit, my own fault! Anyone having an extra pair of hinges for a late 40ies Chevy trunk for sale? It sure would be appreciated!!
Looks like a lot of Danes pull those camping trailers with the individual vertical sleeping compartments! Thanks for the pics. vic
That's crazy, looks like fun though. What kind of damage did he do the the truck skipping off that bank.
So, the truck in the video was the track prep by grading it flat? CRAZY! You guys have a great potty-to-people ratio at your events! (And some cool cars too!)
It was running the whole weekend, but it looked a bit busted at the end!! It think it lost a headlight and got some dents in the front fender!? The story about the truck is that it was brought to Germany from the States in parts like seven years ago, and then assembled on the harbour in Hamburg. The guy who put it together back then is an american called Tim, (Pirate Customs?) Hehe... I didnt see the car! But I think the owner attended the first event six years ago!
