I'm an admirer but that grille needs some tweaking with those nose-high bars. I like the pattern, the bars in shape and number but either pull the back sides up or drop the noses down, it just doesn't work. Looks like 39-40 Chevrolet pickup grille bars to me.

That single taillamp deal is very artsy but suicidal on the street. A good show piece but something more practical and damn sure more noticeable will save a lot of grief some day.

Great job overall, I wouldn't throw it out of bed for eating crackers.

Superb! Those cars look good from any angle but I think the 36 makes the prettiest rear 3/4 shot in all of hot rodding. Excellent work.

    Erik,

Looks great. I agree with Kirk- that grill is bugging me! I would go back to the original grill- but whatever...great job. Post some before picts so people can see what you were dealing with...

    Bringing it to breakfast tomorrow?

  23. Great job!

I, too, noticed the single tail light and thought about driving that car in California traffic.

I don't see how you guys can do up a stunning car like that and sell it right away.

    Very, very nice!

If you don't mind, can you tell us about the paint job? What is the base, and did you use a sealer or suede clear coat?

    Thanks!

    Ben

the first one is how the pic might have looked in old style and a pic made to look like it was taken in 1936 and man it looks great
