Technical Battersby 2x2 (new) intake for flathead?

There is one for sale on the Riverside, CA C/List. Just put in Battersby and you should find it. Guy has an interesting provenance on that item.

 

There has been 2 NOS ones on Ebay for a while now. Different sellers but consecutive serial numbers.

 

2 serial numbers in a row, seems a bit fishy to me

 

Those sure look like new castings to me

 

Just looked them up.. the aluminum man seller has one with the number 0109 and it looks kinda old.. the other bloke has 0108 and it apparently is NOS but looks like a repro / too new to be NOS to me..
