Me likey. It's funny though. When I got my first '62 Olds it had shaved handles. One day not too terribly long after I got it together (it was still mostly disassembled), one of the kids bumped into one of the bondo covered holes with the handlebars on his bike. Well damn...guess I'll just put them back on. :D

And I see those Olds caps...got the same ones on my car. They look good on just about anything.

    Enjoy!

Dave, do you have a before picture you could post? I unfortunately didn't take any.

I'm really glad you're happy with it...I think the "Dr. Pepper cooler green" is a good color for that car. But it needs scallops!

    Thanks guys...

Simple white scallops with contrasting pinstriping to highlight the body lines...I'll probably do some striping on the decklid as well.

Hey Brian, Im pretty sure he was asking me. Im thinking about doing some simple white scallops with contrasting pinstriping to highlight the body lines He'll probably do some striping on the decklid as well. I hope I helped explain it a little better.

Very nice.. There are just way too many 53's 54's in Dallas.. By far this is one of the coolest! Brain, you paint this car?

Neal...yes I did...well I put it in tinted primer anyway. See the before picture above when it was pink...uh I mean maroon. :) That's what it looked like when Dave brought it over. I shaved all the emblems and handles, filled the holes, did some minor bodywork, sprayed it, and added the '55 Olds caps.

Dave....I thought you were leaving all the color decisions up to me? :D Monday will probably be OK.

  18. The looks good in green, better than last time I saw it.

Hey I watch "Mask" for the cool bikes and the little deformed boy...not for Cher. Get it straight. :)

I don't have any excuse for the Cher CD. I guess I just like power ballads...is that so wrong?

Steve, you should know by now that real painters don't have to rub out their paint.
