The latest issue of HOP UP (vol 13 no 1) has a very cool 18 page article documenting Jim and Mike's 2016 road trip from Knoxville, Tn. to California for the LARS. The trip was taken in Jim's just completed topless 29 roadster that was originally built by Pete Eastwood. The piece was written entirely by Jim and unedited by the HOP UP staff, turns out Jim not only builds killer hot rods, he has also produced a dam good narrative of the adventure. For those of you old enough to get the reference it's kind of like Kerouac gets a hot rod! The attached picture was taken a few days before departure. Mike -Jim.JPG

  5. Thanks for the compliments guys. We are really stoked about the article in Hop Up and Tim Sutton was great to work with along with our friend Jack Parker.

Loved the VT garage scene write up in R&C in the early 70's shot at Blair's in front of the Chassis Shop.
I have that issue somewhere and another showing it completed at the Yesteryear Drags held @ The original Irwindale.

The Eastwood/Barillaro Roadster is now for sale on Ebay. Must be time for another iconic build, 78B went to Switzerland, The Walker Special track T went to Japan, the TROG belly tanker went to a noted California collector, where will the Pwood end up?
