Banger ramblings for November!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by hotrodfil, Oct 31, 2006.

  1. Yes, it has hardened valve seats fitted already.

I'm well aware of the poor flow characteristics of it currently.

Hang on, this is getting silly!

All the Brit stuff is going out to the US and all the US stuff is coming to Britain!

Clark / Bruce , any chance you could bring me up to speed on these 2 ports ? Is this an upgrade from another Ford or aftermarket ?

Whoa there, Ratty...don't go running before you can walk ;) Besides, OHV conversions are currently not allowed to enter the Meltdown, four-banger or otherwise :D . Get yourself the Sacramento Vintage Ford brochure, they list four or five OHV heads if you want to read up on them (and see how much they are!).

BTW, the Madonna gag will have me chuckling for the rest of the week...

Just a lot of silly upside-down and wholly superflous bits, like an electric bagpipe caught up in a milking machine.

  7. You can watch Mark sink money into one on your doorstep, early next year if you want...
Or try out a locally hewn B.E. four port F head? Figure on spending the same as you've spent on the car on on an engine...

Me? I'll be keeping the valves where gravity will close them, just like Henry intended.
