To work on the Kawabobber. Yesterday I got the tubing bent and built the new backbone and upper hardtail legs. Today I'm building the lower rails and hardtail legs. A little bracing and a lot of welding and this will be one cool bob.

Please show some pics. How do you bend your tubing? what kind of front end are you using? I want to build me a bobber, but my mom won't let me ride it!:p Sparky

    I use 1 1/4" tubing... .083 wall thickness.

I use a 13" wheel rim, a heavy car, and a torch to bend it. Put the rim on the ground next to the car, put the end of the tube under the car body and lay the tubing in the smaller radius. Heat the outside radius of the tubing (not cherry red, just warm it). Bend as necessary.:p
