Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by nostalgia59, Sep 16, 2012.

  1. I've been wanting another Flathead car for a while now. Just got this one going and really enjoying it. Runs good, runs cool, handles good....

  2. Started with some leftover pieces, roadster cowl, unidentified doors, handmade cab back on 1931 chevy frame rails...

How long did it take you? Looks real cool.

  4. Chassis is made from 31 chevy rails with a '36 ford x-member and flattened rear crossmember. Rails were reshaped similiar to a '32 ford frame and use 32 front horns and 34 ford rear horns. Model a front crossmember and '34 pedals...

Awesome little truck! You're building the Duvall-esque car too, right?

    You do very nice work.

  18. That is looking very good. I'd been following the progress over on the "Flyer's Hot Rod Board", until that disappeared. Have fun driving the wheels off of it now.;)

Every once in awhile comes a car that just puts a huge smile on my face as I think, "Perfect!" This is one of those times. Great work! Wow!
