Yesterday I received my advance copy of the Rodder's Journal issue 59. And what a pleasure it was to open it up and get to the pages were Pat Ganahl and Geoff Miles have created an outstanding article on the Jack Stewart 1941 Ford. 16 pages (8 spreads) are devoted to the Jack Stewart Ford with some really fantastic studio photos of the car in bare metal by Geoff Miles. Also included are some great old photos of the car of which one is a really nice color photo from 1951 or early 1952 from the Jim Skonzakes collection that was dropped from the Jack Stewart Ford book at the last moment. The article that Pat Ganahl wrote about the car could not have been done better and it puts a huge smile on the faces of everybody involved in the project from 1947 till now. And for sure will it put a smile on your face once you get to read and see it yourselves. I think the new issue will be available in a month or so. This article is another milestone for car owner Palle Johansen and the Jack Stewart Ford Project and its team. And also for KUSTOM KAR BOOKS publishers and the Jack Stewart Ford book, which gets some really great words on the best Hot Rod and Custom Car related magazine on the planet. Thank you TRJ... and the rest of the magazine is really nice for us Custom Car enthusiast as well.
