A 1950 Chrysler windsor.I just dissassembled starter, cleaned, lubricated and checked it.
Works fine exept it wont stop cranking, if ol spitfire decided not to start.
Take battery cable loose and put back in, and you can start it again.
    What did i do wrong?
I dissassembled solenoid again and found nothing wrong, did however stretching return spring a little bit.Didnt help.
Could i put bendix fork wrong way in?

It did not jammed in operative mode before this overhaul, its just little low on cranking speed.Chrysler have sitting in barn long time and i think overhaulins starter would be right thing to do.I got new battery and checked cables.
Car is still original 6volt fuiddrive.
