This is a Autoguard Model 3000 grill guard. These were made by Erie Manufacturing. This is a one of a kind piece. You probably won't find another. I have never seen this style of guard. Directions state it will fit the following cars: Buick 1941, 1946, 1947 & 1948 Chevrolet 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1948, 1950 DeSoto 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950 Dodge 1949 Ford 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950 Kaiser 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950 Mercury 1941, 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948 Plymouth 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950 Pontiac 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950 Model Specific cars are not listed. Just makes. The box is in poor condition. Part of the grill guard is still wrapped in newspaper. I didn't remove it. I thought about it to get a date from the newspaper but left it as is. There is some very minor pitting on the uprights but this should clean up very easily with a little bit of polishing. It's an absolute cool piece. Comes with everything in pictures that you see. I cannot guarantee all the hardware or pieces are there but it appears to be. I didn't want to open up the directions because they are brittle in some places and didn't want to damage it but it is in tact. Worlds Oldest Grille Guard Erie Manufacturing Model 3000 Autoguard. Condition is New in box. It even comes with the original purchase receipt dated from what appears to be 1955 or 1959. Please look over pictures carefully.
