Austin HAMBers...have car trailer to rent?

Hey all,

I need to go get a 1962 caddy in Houston this Saturday. Was wondering if anyone here in town had a car trailer I could borrow/rent for the day? I'd rather give some money to a local vs. the Uhaul people.

I always rent from this dude on South Congress between stassney and william cannon..

Car hauling trailer... 35 a day.. if you rent it saturday you can bring it back first thing monday morning...so you sorta get a ""free" day...

his trailers arent brand new.. but have always worked well for me..

I just hauled my 49 coupe from Del Rio.. and a friends 55 Lincoln Capri from north austin..

the caddy might be bigger.. the lincoln was heavy as hell, but it did fine on the road..

let me see if I can find his number..

The caddy is big and weighs about 4800 pounds. I have one to measure to make sure it fits.
