  1. Some rare cars turned out like Ian Watson's gennie '33 Ford Sports Coupe, which is one of only 40 ever built.

Nice lot of images Mr Carp's. It was kinda nice cruizin in Scott Fisk's way cool Buick ( Scott's an old model building buddy of mine from up Shepparton way). Yeah it was wet Sunday but I kind of enjoyed the chance to stripe indoors for a change on various stuff. I might even get the hang of this striping thing if I stick with it long enough!

Flatoz, we can do white. Some of my bestest work has been in white one shot. But then again I have done some very ordinary works in white! But hey when the time comes we can discuss the color.

  10. ...and to prove that the Custom Crusier Winning Hudson is daily driven, here it is parked outside Dale's Work today in the rain.... [IMG]

Just trying to show that the Rod Rider(tm) is more than a pretty face. [IMG]

Cosmopolitan, intelligent, great passenger. The guy's got it made.

I wasn't 100% sure it was Lygon St as I couldn't see any wogs standing out the front of the cafes trying to drag people in. Is that what the guy with the Hudson does?

    Mikey-

Does a HAMBER own this car? I've seen it numerous times and like it.

    Thanks,
    Dane

  16. Daign...don't think he's on here....There was some pics ages ago of an almost identical 2 door ...same except for being a 2 door and a slightly different shade of green/blue.

Father / son cars i believe???

Flames they threw without the gay propane add ons looked cooler imho.

  17. Hey Brootal,

your thinking of the wrong end of lygon street. the city end closest to the cbd is where that bullshit happens.

dales shop is awesome - its in brunswick east. no one needs to drag people in, that place is packed all buy itself. its a real old school Italian "gentlemans" club. its cool to rock up at 8am and have a coffee with some of the old guys who have been drinking scotch since 6!

its also beccoming a bit of a hub for rods and customs. i work three doors down and there is usualy at least one other rod/custom/chopper there during the day.

im thinking about getting some sort of cruise or something started there one day, just for shits and giggles.

Dunno that he did, since to most people truluy familliar with Melbourne, the 'Greek' sinage on that building would have suggested Bridge Road or Swan St Ricmond. Certainly NOT the most familliar section of Lygon St, since that's all Italian.

Shame he hasn't got a job, then he'd have the cash to finish his own car and come to events with everybody esle. He might even become known as The rambler driver tm. [IMG]

The Buick is owned by Scott Fisk out of Shepparton. He bought it off the guy that has the really nice 2 door hardtop Buick ( as Maiki said the guy had the 2 Buicks at the same time) that is nearly exactly the same. Scott also has a 2 door hardtop he is building. Don't think Scott is on here.

Can you tell scott we all thought the flames the Buick throws without the Overkill Propane injection is 200% cooler!

I will Maiki, but that is just Scott, all over kill ( but he is a real good guy!) Actually he wants to go even bigger and better. He did tell me his plans, but I am not into that stuff so wasn't really listening!

  22. Psycho - Sounds like a great hang out. If I get to Melbourne again I'll make sure Carps takes me there, instead of all the strip joints we usually end up in. [IMG]

Carps - That's what threw me, the Greek sign. I figured it kinda looked familiar, but couldn't remember exactly where it was. I've been up and down most of the streets in that area, usually late at night. [IMG]
