Attn Denver HAMBers

What's going on in Denver in November, December, January or February? I've got a couple close friends that live in Denver and I'm coming up to visit sometime between early November and late Feb. Haven't decided when exactly to come out. Want to do some snowboarding and I realize it's a bit nippy for car shows during that time of year, but I wanted to meet some HAMBers while I'm visiting. I thought if there was something going on I could plan around it and have a productive trip.

Let me know! Excited to come visit the mile high city! I REALLY need a vacation!

Loveland and keystone ski areas are just up I-70 from denver and are usually open from mid Oct on,rent some snowmobiles they're alot of fun ,especially at 75mph down a 10 ft wide trail with trees on either side
There's a big swap meet on at the Denver collesium sometime in January or Febuary ...cant remember the date.

 

the big indoor car show in denver is the weekend after thanksgiving. then not much of anything goin on till the tri state swap meet, i believe the last weekend in jan.

there's snow in the mountains as i type, might be a good winter for boardin.

 

The car show and that swap meet sound awesome! That's what I was hoping for! Excellent. Any info you could get me about the events would be appreciated!

Any HAMBers going to either of those?

 

Rocky Mountain Rod & custom show, November 25-26, National Western Complex...lots of "rods"...few anything else...Adults $15.00 walk-in.

i was off a bit on the dates of the swap meet, the POLAR BEAR swap is sat jan 27th, the tri state swap is the next weekend feb 3rd & 4th. at the national western complex, it the biggest swap of the area, all indoors. tristateswapmeet.com is the website.

 

We're having our 1st anniversary shop party/Daytona 500 party in mid Feb.

Cool! Keep me posted on dates of things coming up! It didn't realize that car show was over the Holiday weekend. Brain fart. I won't be coming out that weekend, but maybe December or January. Probably again in March or something.
