Should I be concerned if I haven't received my confirmation letter yet?

That location of the grassy knoll by the old Lester building works great for me.I'll be in the big tent just to the north of the open space. That is where the Legislative committee will be Saturday. If the weather is nasty the tent will hold a fair amount of folks. If some people were to bring a few pop up tents a nice shaded area could be set up that would work as the all weekend meeting place, especially if set up Friday morning.Just a thought.

Either one will work but you still won't be able to get many if any cars there unless you are already parked there. Just let us know and we will be there.

  22. OK GIRLS LETS JUST GET denise to organize this!!!
my guess if we got nice sunney weather a person wont be driving around looking for parking especially in the afternoon, saturday especially will just be walking room

any of the last mentioned places work for me as I park on machinery hill

MATBEE WE SHOULD ALL DIg OUT HAMB T shirts and strike up a conversation when we see another one, it has worked for me before

So has the meet spot been established??? I plan on being there no matter where it's at. Also I saw someone was talking about camping, if anyone is planning on camping instead of getting a hotel, I know it's last minute but I have 3 acres of land in maplewood about 10 miles east of the fairgrounds and any hambers would be more than welcome to camp and park their car on my property for free. We have huge party/campouts a few times a year with no problems. Pm me if anyone is interested. Hope to meet some of you guys this year!! Last year was a mess for me when I blew my motor Friday night, and I swapped the engine Saturday morning and missed the meet and greet! So I'll be there this year 4 sure!

How about the swap meet area north of the Horse Barn (J on the map) later in the afternoon (like 4pm) on Sat. Plenty of parking and many are working their way out in that time frame to prepare for the evening. Just a thought.

  27. I'll be there, but the car won't. It's not ready yet. BUT, my dime's worth: Taking a car to BTT50's is a P.I.T.A. It doesn't matter what time you go or where you want to park. Your plan will be FUBAR by the time you get to the grounds.

Did we decide where and when yet? I heard bandshell at Noon, Saturday. Hey, isn't the bandshell right by the Linenkugel's log cabin...?

Well no official word on a meet spot yet, Im game for where ever but it would be killer to have a spot where we might be able to have our cars as well, my 2 cents is we all meet were the midway/swap area is. There's allways clear spots to park there and it's not such a zoo. The band stand is easy to find and a central place but an absolute zoo, and most would prolly have to walk quite aways to get there. But either way I'll be glad to meet up with some of you guys so it's cool. Oh buy the way I'll be scootin around on my lark/mobility scooter, I got smashed up pretty bad in a car accident so my back is too jacked to be walkin all day, I'll be easy to spot, a younger guy with a satin black pin stripped scooter.
