Thanx to all of last week's artists for making the "automotive rendering" post a success. Many Hambers really dug the content of that post. Let's see some more....Here's a quicky I drew of Drew's RPU, & then shoot some quick photoshop airbrushed color over the top....
This shot of my buddies '49, looks like it came right out of a 1955 photo album. It was actually at this years Hunnert car Pile up 2004.
Last one from me, This is yet ANOTHER sketch done at work. I was inspired by TUCK's tech advice. Hey, I won't lose MY job for drawing @ work 'cause I work for the airlines......But I may have to worry about losing the entire airline! (I work for MIDWEST AIRLINES, & they just cut more than half (100) of their mechanics for good!
Really quick sketch here (the first time I've drawn a hotrod actually), proportions are way off, nothing and it looks like picasso drew the wheels.. but i'm thinking dropped, full body RPU of some kind with all the body bits (roof, fenders, bonnet) removable for summer winter driving ... it's a pipe dream , and I'll probably draw a million different versions before I build something -Richard
Nick, Either you have got to stop this or I have got to stop lookin'. Every time I open one of these I have to rethink or redesign something. This rocks bro. Its all rightious work. You all got it in spades.
Most of my cars over the years have looked like a little "automotive rendering" had been done to them at one time or another. Looks like I missed a good post. I'll have to go find it now.
Merc done out of my head . When I first did it it had some weird Bernardo Bros short quarter windows. Now it looks like a regular hard cut.
Ran across this from last year. Since I have been doing mostly stripes and one shot lately, here is a pencil doodle from the vault.
Here's one my son did while in high school, amongst many others. I've got it mounted in my office, got some glare from the glass. -slacker
I haven't drawn any cars in a while that were wortha crap so I dug out a couple of older pieces. Josh
Here's a painting I did a while back... Oil on canvas Of Pete Bennetts roadster, the old Bill Jerry car in green as it was originally... Jonny www.jonathanbradstreetillustration.com
