Are all T-85/R-11 with 1 3/8 input shafts alike?

i am trying to identify a transmission. it has the large input shaft. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

 

I don't know, but at least I have a small amount of experience with T85 / R11 transmissions. The earliest trans I have is a '49 Lincoln with the big input. The gears are cut the opposite direction from the later T85s and T10s. Can you post a picture? If it looks the same as my transmission then you have your identification.
