Do Ardun heads use the same amount of head bolts as in the flathead block?

I know zip about Ardun heads, although I really like the look. That said, I would think they need to fasten exactly the same as the flathead, i.e., utilize the existing bolt pattern in the flathead block?

On mine it looks like less . Compare a flathead head gasket to those of an Ardun .

    32 Barn Car,
Man that is a beautiful sight!
When the Ardun Conversion is added, what is the approximate H.P. increase?
I have always been curious to what it added to a stock Flathead.
    Thanks!

The engine was built by Ardun god Cotton Werksman , was far from stock , 284" with a Merc crank , Howard cam , a mag and 6 Stromberg 97's .

What's done with the existing valves in the block?

Put them in another engine as the push rods have to go through that space.
