Looks like I will be traveling to Cleveland with work in a few weeks. I hate sitting in hotels. I always get out and explore. So anything happening around April 13-23?
Root. Cleveland OHIO?? If so here’s a good list. It’ll keep you busy for a while. DONT miss the Choppers Show! https://www.cruisintimesmagazine.com/cruisin-mag-faq
I dunno about hot rod related, but go to the greenhouse tavern and get a bbq'd pig head. One of my favorite meals in the country.
Be sure to check out the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. As it is an indoor venue, you may need a reservation and a mask.
I second Petejoes recommendation of the Choppers show. The Choppers club has been around since the mid fifties. Usually has a good number of Hamb friendly cars.
Root, I know traveling with work, scheduling can be tough, but if you can swing it allow an extra day and stop in at Dayton, Ohio and take it the airplane museum. It will take a day to see it and it’s kinda on your way from Oklahoma, if you are driving. Bones
https://www.achristmasstoryhouse.com/ This is car related because they also have Ralphie's folk's 37 Olds sedan on display.
Cleveland? You have my sympathy... The Crawford Auto Aviation Museum is worthwhile... if it's open due to Covid. https://www.wrhs.org/research/crawford/
Can always go blow insulation, and wire shop lights at @31Vicky with a hemi 's place. Hold his beer, and his keyboard breathalyzer while wondering around his garage estate of fun-ness. Whatever happens it's gonna' be great. I have faith !! Shoot lots of pics !!!
We went there a couple years ago while I was picking up car parts. Spent the whole day there, could have spent more time. Awesome aviation museum! And yes it is better if you can share it with someone, luckily my wife enjoys most of the museums I go to! Bones
I highly recommend stopping by Street Machinery...you won't be disappointed https://streetmachinery.com/
This is one I would do, with warning and an invitation of course................... I would love to see his stuff.
