Anyone want to start a club for 60s traditional (Bellflower) lows?

I am a FNG, That has shown kustoms from 1959 ,but have probably not proven yet on HAMB That I know anything about Kustoms.
These are picture of my 53 Merc that I call "CLASS OF 62"

    1. It's "FNG", newbie.

    2. Sweet ride. Pretty much proves anything I'd need to know.

Ok...this is a great post and all but does anyone else see where this is going????? Now we have the 60's traditional car club, whats next???
A (GULP) Traditional 70's car club!!! Ugh.....Where is the world going.....

Not that I have a problem with the 70's. I was born in the 70's. I think its just that the eventual evolution to the 70's being looked at as "traditional" makes me feel old.

Ok. I'm done attempting to be funny.

Even though I'm a bit low on the post count, I sent my info... maybe Donnie'll vouch for me?

I like "Boulevard Creepers" or "Lowered Class"... I said it in my email but I'll say it here too -- anything with a Spanish twist sounds more like a lowrider club to me than a trad 60s custom club name... just my dos pesos :)

anyone near Bakersfield interested!?!?! I am low on my posts, but I have a 64 olds dynamic 88 w/ a bagged rearend...no astros yet because I had to spend my money on new bushings for the frontend and a rebuilt tranny. I photograph all kinds of cars for a few mags, not into the flavor of the month car...I kept my 64 when everyone was telling me to sell it and buy a chopped 50 merc. There is just something about 60s Kustoms. I am very interested in joining.

I'm getting some stickes made for the store, and I'll have a rough estimate on getting club stickers made while I'm at it. Anyone have any connections with T shirt guys?

I think the local graphics store here can do t-shirts on the cheap... I'll call right now or start looking elsewhere if they can't...

I got my $$$ dues ready, bro. Lemme know. Start off easy and get things up like stickers, avatars for those who desire, tshirts, a website and a *good webmaster [no offense if you run a good site, bro, just suggestin], etc...

I also think we should evaluate our member's locations on the map... then look for members that live near eachother, assign a president for each "chapter" [state, city, whathaveyou] and then we can REALLY work from there... I think this will really set off that car club "feel" if we can get individual prez's representing this club in their own state, with their own "crew". JMHO. Basically - let's roundup our current members, see where they are on the map, then assign presidents, v.ps whatever...to their chapters. This has potential to be a real-life club and not some internet gathering of pictures and bs'n... although, bs'n and pictures are fun... :p

I am out on the astros right now. My 3 bar spinners will have to do until a couple of paychecks from now...that is a hell of a price though.

On another note....there is a place called the Zombie Den here in Bakersfield that is supposed to have pretty good prices on embroidery and screen printing. I can check it out if you guys want

We're on the road to success now!:)

  30. Marcy here on the HAMB does shirt printing and since we are working with Hidden on the logo it is easy to get the files and stuff to the printer.

give money to HAMB people first.
