Anyone using an Edelbrock 500 cfm carb on a chevy straight six?

I know it's more than what the cfm calculations would suggest, but I just prefer the Edelbrock over the Holley. If you run this combination, give me some feedback on how you like it and how it performs etc. Thanks.

 

well not the same thing but along those lines i ran a 600 holley on a 235. i believe that the reason i got away with it was the hei dist that i put in at the same time, drove it 5years and it still had the same spark plugs in it when i sold it.
