Theres a couple threads here discussing POR-15 and Rust Bullet but no mention if anyone has tried painting over either.Rust Bullet says its "compatable with most top coats".Anybody tried it and with what results?

Unsure about Rust-Bullet, but paint over POR-15 is a no-no unless you've followed their instructions to a T on adding a topcoat.

it dries like rock , make sure you scuff the surface so the new paint grips

I scuffed it and the epoxy primed it and then based and clear and still havent had any chips or de-lamination.

The can says you should top coat within 24 hours of application or Rust Bullet.

Thanks for the reply guys.Plan on using rustbullet w/ blackshell topcoat on chassis but wanted a color topcoat on body.Sounds like this should be one of the easier parts of the build.
