I know they didn't originally come equipped with window whiskers but has anyone installed a set of universal ones on a 32-34 Ford Pickup? Just looking to cut down on any potential rattles, keep the glass from getting scratched, and keeping water out of the doors.

Pics and who you got them from greatly appreciated thanks.

  2. Bump..

I would like to know also...

  3. Have looked at this often. My thinking is you would have to make sure the lower glass channel does not come up as far as they do now. Would really like the stainless edge weather stripping to go on the vertical of the door. To keep the glass channel from coming up as high would require taller glass. Taller glass would mean you would have to make the glass go lower in the door. Have not given up on the idea yet. Been pondering it fo 20 years.

Don’t remember where I got them.
Probably took measurements and made comparisons.

  5. I just used some peal & stick weather stripping from ACE hardware, it worked pretty good. HRP

same material. A pic with the window rolled down. Used small screws to attach them.

  8. I used peel and stick from Mcmaster on mine. That took away the rattles and sealed most of the air leaks. I drove mine year around.
