I've had this car for several years and have been looking for information on it from when it was being raced. A few days ago a fellow HAMB member "35touring" sent me these images he found in the Doug Potter and Tommy Erwin photo collections. Does anyone know anything about the car from the 70s until present? The rear view shot is from Bristol 1970. We are in the process of putting it into "display" condition first, then plan to make it at least somewhat drivable. Progress has been slow but these new pictures are motivating, thanks 35touring for sending them.
Our plan for now is to touch it up and make it presentable as is. Now that we have pictures of it as it was raced, we may go to that in the future. We've always known it was green at one point but didn't know about the panels, etc. until we got these pictures. I'm with you, I really like the green and the Cragars as well. They both scream early 70s.
Yep ^^ of the two paint jobs shown I like the circus paint job the best. it just makes the car in my opinion.
