So I am thinking about putting a buick nailhead in my coupe build but dont know a damn thing about them. What should or shouldnt I look for as in years, size, etc. How are they to work on or to get parts for compared to a sbc? Reliabilty? Also I want a manual trans so what do I look for there? thanks.

They are the large flat part of a nail.

I am putting one in my 32 5w project. In the beginning stages. I am running a 401 with a muncie. My engine is a 61, I believe if you buy a 65 or 66 a th 400 bolts right up.
Tons of torque in these motors
