Okay. Must be a cycle. I quit for a few years at a time. Doesn't help my mental status, but the doc says my liver likes it.:D

My new shocks arrive today. Might have new upholstery, too. I'll be ridin' pretty. See ya Saturday!

Breakfast was good; hope Kelly's biscuits met their advertised size!

Nice to put some faces with online identities. Some picture taking happened and I hope some will get posted here.

Let's do it again next month!

Damn I missed it! You guys planning anymore? I played in Galveston last night with Jerry Jeff Walker, Jesse Dayton and Joe Ely so needless to say I'm hurting right now! Hope to catch the next one though.

Thanks for coming out. It was a great time. I decided to make a separate thread for the pics, here:

Thoughts on next month or is it too early?

  21. Furthur south! Actually that wasn't too bad a compromise for us distance-wise. I'd have stayed longer, but Louie's wife and granddaughter were getting cold, and I had to follow him as he had no license plate on the red '47 Chevy. There are some nice spots in the Clear Lake area; we were in a pretty shitty part of town. We are having a car show in April after Roundup:

H.A.M.B. member Sam Navarro is hosting and his band the Lone Star Devils are playing so everyone is in for a treat, along with other bands, pin up show, etc.,

Anywhere south of I 10 works for me; I'm not really comfortable yet driving my car too far from Deer Park...!

  23. We gotta remember the guys like Greg that live way up north of lake Conroe. Someone had suggested a location in the Heights - that's pretty central. Don't matter much to me, just don't want anyone left out.

Any Saturday but the 23rd (heading back from Chickasha) is good for me.

I am game for anyplace..well..maybe not too close to Dallas, which is almost across the Mason/Dixon line.

  25. There's always lots of suff going on in the Heights area; I know several guys down my way, and I'd really like to get something going down here.

With my Sales Team I have monthly meetings & to make it fair I choose a different location everytime for example:

    March- Katy, Texas
    April- Spring, Texas
    May- Webster, Texas
    June- Heights

    etc.......

I think this could work for us because it would give us the ability to drive different routes & discover new joints across the area. I also think it would be a great way to recruit new people if we cover a larger area. What do you guys think?

  29. Two hours and $150 in gas is a bit much for a poor boy like me.

It is clear that not everyone can attend every meeting even if they are moved from place to place. But it is a good idea to move things around the greater Houston areas in an attempt to make things better for almost if not all.
A ride to Dobbins on my old cycle would not be bad..but it would take all day..If a meeting were held there and the weather was good I would go..as long as it was not very often.
