Anyone heard of OSCO speed equipment?

  1. Got given this air cleaner top years ago for a flathead Ive got but never used it, done some reserch but I can't find any info on it or the company. Wondering if anybody can shed some light on the company?, clamps right up to a '97.
    Its quite a nice peice and I was thinking of getting some more cast.

  2. Probably had a screen that screwed on the front, and was a spark arrestor for marine

    In 30's and 40's OSCO made
    marine conversion stuff for Ford
    Flathead and other engines. That
    carb "scoop" you have is actually
    a marine "flame arrester" and would
    have originally had a set of fine-mesh
    bronze baffles installed in the mouth.
