Im looking for pics of roadsters with rollbars thinking of putting one in my 30 A roadster, and Im trying to get an idea how it would look.
Nobody has done this. I searched and did not find one other than that one. Im thinking of putting it through the header panel between the seat and deck lid.
I have seen that 32 roadster race a round phillip island track and I know why it has a roll bar he gives it hell
It's my friend"s little Hot Rod. He bought the car in it's current configuration but has improved the roadability over the years. The car is real short ~90" wheel base as is pretty light ~1,300 lbs wet without passengers. It is my understanding the body is a modified T with a belly pan made from a '40 Ford hood, the rear deck is made from the rear of a late '20s Buick sedan laid horizontal. The nose was made by combining (2) Austin A40 noses and a T shell together. The frame is fabricated from 2x3 square tubing. The engine is a mid '60s Volvo engine with a Volvo Penta marine twin downdraft intake with Solex carbs. The transmission is a Volvo manual gearbox with an electric overdrive.
