Wouldn't keep me from driving it either, but I'd be driving it while the order from Limeworks was being shipped in...

It looks to be on an 80"s chassis, which they probably just left the column attached.

You would probably have to consult the resident Diamond David Lee Roth and hair metal expert , Plowboy.

No reflection on the car, but for some reason I would expect more from someone with his money.

sometimes our reflections of self have nothing to do about money.if he blinged it up everyone would bitch about that.
here is a really nice lopped top merc and all the previous posters could do is slam the steering wheel....so it wouldn't matter if he gold plated it or rubbed a turd on it..the naysayers would pounce.

  11. There is actually a great/goofy story behind this car. I am paraphrasing but have the general info correct. David Lee Roth is at some party and someone (famous I believe) makes a crack about the reliability of "that old car". A booze and coke infused challenge ensues and before you know it, Roth claims he can drive THAT car from Los Angeles to New York in a handful of days (maybe a couple of days??). As soon as the bet is made, Roth takes the car to a shop who drops the body on a late model chassis(column and all-ha).
Of course he didn't let that info out. Once the car was done, he loaded the car with dirty bitches and more coke and hit the road. Drove all night and day, and night and day, and got there in the allotted time winning the bet.

do a search for panama and you will find some construction pics.
Do you know that they built a second one (most likely the one with the Barris crests) for car show touring.

  24. That's no bullshit. I can't imagine growing up in a world without hair metal. That's a life not worth living. I feel sorry for these kids.
