Got my first one at the docs office 3 weeks ago.... A pretty little nurse gave it to me... I didn't feel a thing...
Are you sure it's a "virus message" What does it say? Could very well be fake virus malware. Clear your temp files, try to find it in Windows, when you get one just turn off the computer with the power switch, this will prevent it from going into memory .DON'T CALL AND PAY if that's what it asks
1935street rod, I think squirrel has the right idea. You may already know this but if you are using a MAC you take a screen shot by depressing "shift, command, 3". You will hear a sound like a camera clicking and a copy of your screen will appear on your desktop. Add it to your post like a picture from your desktop. Post if you have any questions. heh...if he were using a mac, he wouldn't be getting fake virus malware! To do that in Windows, press the "PRINT SCREEN" key. then paste it into an image editor program, such as Paint.
Getting a Virus alert when I try and click on Pews Place. Since then I can't get on his site. I've looked a Pews Place for years with no problems?
Hello, I have been searching on my own folders for this saved document. This popped up back in May of 2017 when I clicked on one of the links in someone's HAMB post. I cannot remember the exact post, but it was one of the posts that had a link to go to another site or story. As soon as I clicked on that tab, took a screen shot, I deleted the post and resumed reading another different post on the HAMB. An advanced program from Malwarebytes picks up everything coming into the computer. So far, nothing gets by that program and the one built into Windows 10, Windows Defender. But, that does not mean I can randomly go anywhere. On a lot of news sites, there are stories and photos along the side. In various computer website stories, those "click-bait" photos and links are usually the ones with the most problems. (embedded links to their websites, funny cookies that grab key strokes, passwords saved, etc...very devious) I remember a year ago, a link to CNET popped up a similar notice. I usually go to certain regular places that seem safe. Since May, I have not received any more of these on the HAMB, because I don't go on the extra links provided by various posts. Google is usually safe, but I have noticed that other sites not linked to your request/search pops up with some wording. Example: Hot Rod Magazine in the 60's...I was looking for a specific Hot Rod Mag from the 60's, that could have run a story on a custom truck from my old neighborhood. Jnaki The results provided one great site that sold Hot Rod Magazines with descriptions of every story, photo article and tech articles in each month of what year was requested. But, there were a lot of Google results with the word hot rod in it and magazine somewhere down in the description... If you look closely, they have nothing to do with Hot Rod Magazine, but have those words embedded somewhere on their site. (Europe, So America, Asia, links and wording, etc.) Not sites I ever click on to pursue a story or search... So, watch out for even the safe Google search links before you click and open something. Searching for massive vintage photos of varying subjects...Please be safe before clicking open that search site, even Pinterest links.
