Is there anyone else building old mopar stuff. I just finished my '49 wayfarer and would love to see other people's stuff.

    what do you consider "old"?
got a '55 belvedere, slowly transforming from semi-street letal bracket/drag car to a very mild custom daily driver... all mopar, inside and out...

Wayfarers are cool! There's a 49 or 50 that I see cruisin' around here all the time. I've got a 54 Plymouth and I'm workin' on a 49 Ply biz coupe. Here's a glamour shot of the 54 (courtesy of George Brainard.)

nice car 60's style. Mine has a ford 9" in it too, but it's got a 440/727. The front suspension is mustang II, so I guess it's part dodge/ part ford

I'm in the process of a rewire, switch to 12v, new (old) finned head, dual intake, and headers, but it'll still look like this:

Got a 34 Ply 2-sd that's about rough enough to only consider for a dirt track jalopy replica. Have several pieces that are coming to resemble a modified, In my Mind... Started with 33 Chrys cowl, 67 225 S-6 with Offy intake and hyd-clutch 3spd. Grille shell is Diamond-T/'52 Chevy hood and sheet. Arm load of Susp stuff stacked. Just a pile of junk on the back burner...

Ah yeah mind kinda thread! Mopars!

this is mine. Not much to look at but it is my first significantly old car (other than two el caminos) that I have lovingly dumped gobs of time and money into (brakes, floor pans, milled head and gasket, hotter spark, mexican blanket, skeletons) and enjoy every minute of.

    Wayfarer, I dig yer Wayfarer..

Presently I am workin on a fenton two deuce for it. I have tried to get an EDGY head for it but they never seem to respond to my emails. Are they around any more or what? Ah well other plans include splittin the exhaust manifold and some day building the motor up, I have a good friend who uses the same motor in a pullin tractor and it is chock full of goodies that make it pound... but fer now I just drive it and enjoy the hell out of it..

Well, since you asked, I've about gathered up all the necessary original parts (bodies, fenders, frames, hoods, grills, etc) for a pair of '37 plymouths and also 35 Dodge. On the far right in the picture is my '37 Plymouth pickup project; second from the right is my '37 Plymouth Delivery; and fourth from the right is my '35 Dodge coupe project. Would like to talk to other Hambers who have done Mopars of this vintage since most of my background is with old Fords and flatheads. I've got an want ad running right now for a Hemi to put in the '37 Delivery.

I know this belongs in the classifieds but while you're all here... I've got an Edmunds dual intake for the bigger Chrysler/Desoto six that I wouldn't mind parting with.

Hey, Southfork. I've got a real good 56 Desoto Hemi if you'd
consider a baby Hemi. Might even consider selling an Edelbrock 4 barrel manifold that I have also for a Baby hemi.
