Back in mid 70's I answered an ad in the Baton Rouge paper for a '67 Nova race car. It was called the Dixie Twister. The guy said it was driven from the dealer to the race car shop , completely gutted (no windows, crude tube chassis, etc.) and usually ran big block power with fuel injection. It had spindle mount Halibrands and was painted blue. He had a few pictures of it racing the Jegs speed shop car out of New Orleans. This was before bracket racing and the car was pretty much outdated to run competively.
