Building a 29-30 chevy with my pop slickmick, that was a 4 door sedan till someone cut it up.When i ended up with it it was 4 doors,a cowel, part of the roof and rear section with no floors, laying in a pile.Building it into a touring as cheap as we can then while messing with the rear window peice i had a crazy idea of making a Carson style top thats removable.Im half way thru building the frame of it but just want to see pics if anyones got any?

Latest photos of Carson style top progress on the 30 Chevy, includes the photo of the pile of body parts we started with.
I found a couple of build pics that are not in the Tech Archives ( I think...) The top still comes off, it uses the stock Model A Roadster pins at the top off the windshield frame, and nuts & bolts at the back off the roof.

Here´s one survivor. Built in late 40´s early 50´s, resting nowadays in Sweden and the car is owned by a great guy named Fedde. The top of the car is made by Carson.
