Any one have any pics of a 35 ford grill on a 34? After looking at pics of the 35 grill seems like it might work on a 34.

    It does look very good.

  9. It looks better than a
    32 shell
    A scraped up 33/34
    chopped 33/34 grill
Great option for a channeled car.

  10. The whole car is so cool it brings the grill along with it.

As a dyed in the wool 34 lover, I thought "not a chance" when I read the question, but I was pleasantly surprised when I scrolled down and saw the pictures. Dig the car. Nailhead, channeled, etc really has a nice old style look to it. 35 grille and hood "works".
Anyone know if it's an old rod or new build? If it's a new build, the builder nailed the "looks like it drove out of a little pages magazine" look.

That does work, when I first saw the title to this thread I thought "oh no" but looking at that roadster - it looks good.

It's too bad no one repops them, but being from only one model year... It is a great grille. I've even seen them on T roadsters. But I can't find the photos right now. Gary

  23. Surprised me. Still think the '34 is the prettiest of them all.

It does. When the OP said it, I kinda thought "ugh", but it actually looks pretty good.

Look at the back wheel in this shot. Does this car have the swing axle conversion in back that was written up in Hot Rod in the mid fifties??

I think this is the one my friend Bob from Canada built about 20-25 years ago. It was black primer with a flathead then.
