In september of 2010 i bought this 38 chevy coupe after selling my 54 chevy.... it was a half started project car that needed alot of TLC. well after a long wisconsin fall/winter/spring and half a summer i drove it! still needs some work.... frame is set up with a mustang II front end 8.5 10 bolt nova rear, a killer 327 with camel hump heads etc...., turbo 350 trans. (yes i know kinda street rod-ish but who cares?) iam kinda going for a 60's style car... here are some pic i thought i would share with you guys.... sorry they are crappy cell phone pics..... here ya go

Looks like a mid to late 60s build to me, the narrow whites were hot then. Cool.

I like it, reminds me of a '37 that used to run around Tulsa in the 60s.

A SBC in a Chevy? Sounds good to me!

yes down the road i will be putting the boards on, dont let the pics fool you guys, the paint is old and very beat up. the reason that i dont have the boards on yet is cuz at some point in both the rear fenders life the bottom has been cut off just above the mounting surface where the running board should bolt up, i could probably make up somthing to weld on.... but the fenders are full of mud. So i think that i will be in search of some clean rear fenders. Till then iam just going to drive the thing and have some fun with it, i dont think it looks to bad with out them.
