    I posted this on FAS also I think it’s amusing! It’s either a 55 1/2 model or 1/2 of a 56 model lol

Darn Norwegians do the damnedest things. Ole says to Sven “what about the doors?” Sven is still thinking on that one lol. When I came around the corner my first thought was cool a Tri 5 Chevy for sale, then What The ????
    Cool yard art anyways.

Where is the evidence of Nomad?
    Not Nomad trim.
    Side rear glass isn't slider.
    Roof has no grooves.

I would have cut up a real Nomad to build that!

    Well, OK maybe not... maybe...

My son had a 57 Dodge wagon parts car he got along with 57 Dodge wagon he built, he used a lot of parts off that old heap parts car. After about 6 years of it just sitting here, we stripped off the remaining good parts and scrapped what was left.
I could have easily built a Dodge wagon version something like that old Chevy wagon with the parts we scrapped. Once the door section is removed, no one knows if it was a 4 door wagon or a 2 door wagon, nor what shape it was really in. We might have even kept the shortened version around for another 6 years.

Just think about all the fun it would be to hear all the wagon fanatics carry on about how we destroyed such a valuable car.

You should hear some of the crap I hear just because I drive my 49 pickup through the winter, up here in the land of salt. I put a lot of work into saving it from being scrap, so I could enjoy it. If it returns to scrap when I'm done with it, at least everyone got to enjoy seeing it while it was still here.

In '63 I did an even swap, my '38Ford coupe for a '55 Nomad. Two weeks later we swapped back. The second swap is the best car deal I ever made!

Every time I come in from the workshop my missus spots a new "leak", usually where I can't see it!

  22. As I get older the only things that come easier is cuts and bruises.

Blood thinners LOL I know about them. But try explaining them to a few of my lady friends from a foreign country that are always suspicious about my new bruisings, from just bumping into any old thing, but always seem to end up in compromising areas.

The "I don't know", cuts, bruises, and forgetfulness could be a tight race.
Clumsy rates right up there, and so does "I don't care."
Ornery might be right up there too.
Then if you start adding a couple of them together.... Grumpy old men swoops right in.
Get off of my lawn. :D

in this episode of Highway Patrol TV show there were a couple of thieves that had a Hot Rod roadster. They kept talking about the special sound of a engine with a supercharger. Even called around to parts places that sold superchargers to try to figure out who owned the roadster getaway car. involved a local car club too. in the end they caught the crooks. roadster never had a supercharger. 20221005_020824.jpg

My go to also. I will grab some rag in a box and the black tape.

I had five vertebrae fused in my neck about 2 1/2 years ago. About 1 1/2 years ago I rebuilt the flat six engine in my '49 Ford pickup. I was driving in the valve guides with a three pound hammer. Somehow while doing the fifth guide the hammer jumped off the drive in tool and hit my thumb. Cracked my thumb nail widthwise and blood all over the place. Grabbed the rag in the box and some black tape and finished the last seven. Up to this point my neck was giving me a lot of trouble but after I smashed my thumb I didn't feel my neck for at 24 hours, my thumb kept me away all night but my neck didn't bother me. I do not suggest this procedure to alleviate pain in one part of your body.
