I'm so Honored and Humbled to share with you today an experiance that my wife Jennifer and I just had this past Tuesday.

At our recently completed Florida Billetproof Show we meet Brian Bourke ( Brian_03 here on the HAMB) of American Rod & Custom TV right before time to prepare for the Awards portion of the day. We visited for about 20 minutes about my car before he asked if I would be interested in being film interviewed with "Squeezer" for a show that he is working so very hard at creating that is focused on 1962 and earlier Hot Rods and Customs. To be honest with you at first I really did'nt know what to think, but I said yes, we shook hands and he said that he would get in touch with me.

I went on with the days events and finished up the weekend at Billetproof, then on Sunday made the trip home with all of my Brothers and Sisters of the "Poor Boys".

A few days later, I did indeed get a call from Brian, and plans began to happen, and a date was set for March 23rd to film. The location that he chose was at the old Trolley Building in old Tampa that sits on the Hillbough River, and all brick building that is huge, and they had us inside with all of the equipment set up and ready to go.

The entire experiance was awesome, I have an appreciation for film/TV that I never had before, there is a ton of time and work that goes into it, and all of his folks are passionate about how and what they do.

So I want to say THANK YOU for allowing us to be a part of the dream.
I know that there are tons of Hot Rods and Customs here on the HAMB that qualify to be apart of this program, and I encourage you to contact Brian and have a chat with him.

Here are a few still shots that Brian sent to me that I thought I would share with you today.

So many THANKS to Brian and American Rod & Custom TV !

Very nice! Those guys seem to be working hard putting together some good quality production and content. They clearly have some pretty talented people with a good design sense and set of skills working on it. I hope it pays off and works out well for them and looking forward to the shows when they are aired. Cool building they used as your backdrop too. I would love to have a joint like that.

  28. Very cool Glenn. Thanks for the link. I opened it to my surprise and found a brief shot of the 49 Merc I chopped and drove as a young lad of 16. Still has my 49 Monarch grill it it too. Sure would love to chat with the owner and see it again. Looked better black primer with Moons though, never had the dorky devil 39 Ford taillights either!
