    Wow, very unusual to see a car of this era and class to be down so low to the ground, especially in the front.

  22. the factory cars all used the stock design suspension. they all sat low. some lower than others. its the home builts with straight axles that sat high. its not unusual at all.

    Was best two out 3 match with Arnie taking the win. I believe this was the match where Arnie put the Mystery Tornado into the high 8's.

  27. then he got his ass handed to him about 10 races in a row at rockford. even a blind squiral finds a nut once in a while. maybe this was part of the reason the once proud pontiac icon switched to hemi power.

    By the way after using blocks that were cast from '63-'65 they wore out by the early 70's. Not much to find in race parts when your manufacture quits racing in '63. I say a hard 10 year plus run was pretty good by any standards.

  30. He did very well with what he had and lasted longer than most. Too bad pontiac didn't do more to support their racers. They could have done so much more. The potential was there.
