This was originally Tasca's car. I'd sure like to see what it looks like today!

Hey Funny Car 65, that sure was a great reunion for all things Hemified at Salem last year, huh. Thanks for posting some pics from that once in a lifetime deal. Pretty cool spending 3 days with the 5 surviving AFX cars. Here's a pic of the Landy car and the Faubels with their old racecar.

This car was for sale in National Dragster for like $200K. Was not even an original factory race car nor did it have a famous pedigree!

It does have an altered wheel base, look at the wheel well and how it goes into the door.

The only way it could look more wicked was if it was a wagon!! Go for it.

AWB means an altered wheelbase factory chassisied car.

AWB does not refer to ANY drag car with an altered wheelbase. It does not mean it literally.

Before you start correcting some of us who were there, you might want to do a little more reading.
You go to a nostalgia race and see if all the old timers agree with your thinking...

It would be like saying, "yeah, its a fuel car..it runs on gas and gas is a fuel"
Well, yes, gas is a fuel...BUT the word "fuel" applied to drag racing means anything BUT gasoline....

Darn...I would have thought "altered wheel base" would have simply meant a car with an altered wheel base. Guess I better research Stock cars and Funny cars to see what they stand for??

I stay away from ratrod though!
