I wish. This was built by a friend of mine a few years ago, but he sold it before it was finished. Not sure where it is now.

FunnyCar65 - where do you find all those great photo's. Don't really have to know, just appreciate your posting them. Wow...

and just so you know, the 1:18 versions have been delayed a couple days. Had trouble finding a trucking company to pick them up at the manufacturers warehouse. Seems most are set up to pick up partial loads and then combine them. This is a full trailerload and no one can pick up until tomorrow (Wed) but will drive straight through. Should start shipping Thursday am...

Again, thanks for posting the great pic's.

The altered wheelbase 1:18 cars ARRIVED!

A semi truck backed up to our garage door on Thursday Sept 2nd, and I haven't been online here since. We unloaded 18 pallets of 1:18 Mopars, and started to ship them right away that day. Steve stayed late a few days making invoices, and some of my family members helped me out working Friday night and Saturday, then business partner Scott came in and worked that Monday (is that why they call it labor day weekend?). We unboxed the cases they come in, made new shipping boxes, packed up orders, and shipped shipped shipped mostly the Test Mule, California Flash, and Sox & Martin cars. Also some neat '57 Chrysler 300's came in, plus the Super/Stock '67 Dodge Coronet R/T drag cars of Shirley "Drag-On-Lady" Shahan & Butch Leal's "Califonia Flash". More cars than we have ever received in one day. We shipped all that next week, and finally have the last few going out today Sept 14th. That's a lot of shipping, and a lot of cars. Also contacted 400+ customers to mail payment and/or those that a cerdit card expired or didn't work. All to start again on Monday Sept 20th when we ship the remaining Melrose Missile and Lee Smith injected cars. Note: Lee Smith cars are sold out, with 30+ people on a waiting list. The other 4 AFX (awb) cars are going well, but are still available. We at Supercar Collectibles want to thank you for the help many provided on this project. Car owners, drivers, and collectors, all pitched in. We also thank you for your many orders, and your patience while getting these to market. Also a thank you to those that took the time to call and share their excitement once they received them. Yes, many did.

The bottom line is we do THANK YOU all for any part you may have played in this project.

    Amen!

Does that mean we will see more variations?Golden Commandos, Sox&Martin's 1st version,Lee Smith's 1st version,Butch Leal's 2st version,Buckeye&Vernon's hartop oh and Malony Motors, that one would be cool!P.S. I got mine last week, nice job on them.

  19. Just received the Lee Smith Plymouth, the detail is over the top. The hood has pins that have to be removed before lifting the hood off. The engine, trunk and interior are just all gorgeous, definitely not disappointing. Thanks Supercar Collectables, Ltd.

The purchases and nice comments are appreciated. We plan some '65 sedans next, as we had the sedan body made at the same time as the hardtop body. Thinking El Toro, the Virginian, Sox & Martin with small tank up front, chute, all 3 injected. Any sedan photo's appreciated...

Again, thanks for the help with comments and purchases on these! AWB Mopars rock!

IMO, it'd be a shame to make that Lancer an AWB car.
Better simply a high winding (340 or 273) Mopar powered gasser with a real four speed. Those cars were before AWB's era, and are so unique I think it'd be better uncut.
Your car, your choice...but there's lotsa guys who'd love to have one of those, and there's lotsa '63-'66 Darts and Valient out there that would have a more appropriate style for an AWB project.

I agree. I always liked the design and thought a nice pro-touring car would be nice. Even a turbo slant 6 would be really kool.

    IMHO
