I lusted after that car for a while. When Bubba67 decided not to sell - I had the money. When he decided to sell - of course the money was gone. Story of my life. Haha.

    Still, very cool car.

GREAT looking show. I looks like the perfect combo of quality and quantity of the right cars.

John aka Gonzo took my favorite pic of the show. Well, actually, us on the way to the show after a big downpour! Thankfully it didn't last long.

Hope to see everyone back next year!

JJ, you are correct that is the old coupe

Bonesy, you and many others had BLUE BALLS over Bubbas coupe. I had first dibs on it for a while but couldnt made it happen due to mutiple builds.

Alter Boys always have a great gathering. We made a long hike in the old Giesler, but time well spent. The new location is definately better.
    Thanks Boys!!!

I woke up super early the morning of the show, with the truck loaded the wife followed me. I saw some BLACK clouds and expected the worst! We drove right into a wall of marble sized rain drops, I kept going...thank got for rain-X! I drove about another half mile when all of the sudden the car died at 65 MPH, I coasted to a break in the guard rail where I was able to pull off the highway, my wife freaks out when this shit happens but for same reason she was calm??? The car started right back up with no problem, I revved it up a few times and was back on the road. I got another mile or so and it did the same thing again but this time I was going down a long hill so I tried to jump start it....it backfired so loud my wife heard it through the pouring rain and from 5 car lengths behind me!!!
This time there was no break in the guard rail so now Im a little freaked because the pike has lots of big rigs that dont slow down for anything OR anybody!! I waited a few minutes and the car started right back up again so I pressed on, made it to the show with no other problems, the sky cleared , sun came out and it ended up being a beautiful day!!!!
When It came time to leave later that night the ol' gal didnt wanna start??!! Everybody was pretty much gone except for a few folks. Dave50, Blake Carr and the Kowalski race team, just to name a few stuck around to help. At first we thought it was fuel problem but turns out it was a worn set of points that needed a little TLC, she fired up and purred like a kitten!!! My wife had already called AAA, I was about to throw the towel in!!!

The reason for this long winded letter is to thank the guys that helped!!!

You see, we planned on a ride to Ralph's Diner after the show, that's where it all started 11 years ago, I was really looking forward to it so I started to get really bummed thinking I wouldn't make it.

Dave, EJ Kowalski, Moose and anybody else I missed,,,oh yea and the peanut gallery....thank you.

I felt bad for the ole' girl, I had to take her skirt off in front of all the guys!!!!

GREAT show...I hadn't been up to the arctic circle since the Hartford version shut down years ago. More of the same sort of good stuff, better control of the rat roddage. Taste rules!
And the food!! I set up my little grill and ate over at the Pheasant bar across from the club house. Had two of'em.
Only thing it needs is ten times as many people selling early Ford junk!
