Here's a few pictures of my 1959 English Ford (Escort) wagon. I've owned it since 1973. It has a 215" aluminum Buick, T-10 4-speed, narrowed 9" Ford. About 2 years ago, I chopped the top 4 1/2"

Thanks enloe, got some ideas for this wagon, this is what it looked like when I picked it up.

stickers, dummy spots, laker pipes are all off, pin striping off next maybe the skirts and change the wheels.

Anyone want to trade a '55-57 wagon (preferably Ford but I'm open) driver for a '37 chevy coupe gasser survivor? Send me a pm if so.

Do any members know the location of this '56 Ford 2 door wagon? It was featured here in the October of 1990 issue of Rod & Custom.

I sold it back in '90 and haven't seen it since. E-mail me pics if you've seen it [email protected]

Last time I heard it was sold was in '92 or '93 at the Rockford, Illinois auction. . .

    THANKS

Dandingo, If you are having to let off the key before the 56 will start you will need to run a wire from the other terminal on the starter to the distributer I think ??????? (Its been a while since I had to fix my 55) maybe someone else will chime in.

This thread makes me realize why I selected a wagon. Check out the progress of my 55 Chevy BelAir Wagon in my Profile.

New guy here. Really dig this site. And I luv the wagons. Yeah, it's just another red and white chevy. But this ain't gonna be a billet barge. Here's where we're(my dad and me) at with it so far. Sorry for the sideways pic. I'm still computer illiterate and impatient.

  27. Currently restoring a 1955 Ford Country Sedan wagon found in a barn in Townville, PA. in May of this year. It's slow going as time and money allow. Looking for guidance at times to stay on the right road. I don't want to make any mistakes. Hoping the wife may come to love this old beauty as much as I do.

  28. What a great feeling that must be. (I can only imagine at this point.) looks like you have a good support team. Longroofs Rock! (The original band wagon!)
