Technical Air Cleaner ID Help...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by jaydee5150, Jun 8, 2016.

  1. Hi all, I picked up this air cleaner a while back. It's sort of in the pancake style and fits my Rochester B's. I'd really like to know it's original brand. I don't think it's GM...maybe Ford or Studebaker?

Thanks in advance for the help...

  2. Looking for some help ID'ing the make of this air cleaner...just a bump to the top. Any help would be great.

Looks like the one I have on my 37 Chevy p/u that is a GM part

  4. Yep, Chevy truck. Not sure what years exactly but I think 1940s? On second thought I think I've seen those on some AD trucks so they may have been used into the 50s.

  5. Thanks guys, I have a couple of 216/235 air cleaners from the 50's and they are flatter than the one I posted above and have a different lid...more like the one in the picture below. This is the type I'm used to seeing.

  6. Yeah, I see what you're saying. Might not be Chevy then, or maybe just an earlier year.
