So my girl has been perstering me for a car for a while now and I've quietly been looking. I was poking around that auction site last week and came across something I thought she'd like. It was close so I got to check it out before I bid, which is rare. Here's the rundown:
53 Plymouth sedan with Cranbrook tags, although the seller seemed to think it's not a real crankbrook.
89K-motor was rebuilt at some point according to the seller
The interior is in very good shape, hell it's immaculate compared to my Merc.
ok, enough rambling, here are a couple pics Nikki took this morning:

So there you go. I've got a 49 Chevy Truck en route from HotRodPrimer and should be here as soon as StevieG gets his rig straigtened out. Lemme know what you think.

  3. Neat cars you have there! I also can't help but notice all that beautiful green grass & tall trees you have there to provide a perfect background for your cars.:D Gary 4T950 Chevy Guy

Congratulations on your " new to you " purchases ... I have seen the 49 Truck from HRP ... in person and I like the Merc ... looks like you are going to need a larger garage ... or something is going to have to sit outside ...

    :)

So, what do you think of the truck? I'm patiently waiting for it to get here. Hopefully with a weekend or two of wrenching it'll be road worthy. PM me if you want.

Johny Clash, I just sent your FLICKR over to Nikki and she said she really likes your Ply.

of course she wants to paint it satin pink. It'd be a lot of work but maybe someday since it's got a blue interior and all blue under the hood.
