AA/F Coupe Up-Date

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Beep, Aug 14, 2006.

  1. Worked all weekend getting the belly pan and some of the skin on the car. Damn, I'm no body man and never realized how hard this type of work is. The aluminum I used was 3003 .63 wall. I was told that this was the best and easy to work. Whoever told me that never tried to bend it around large smooth curves. Sheeesshhhh, I should used something a little softer, but it'a almost done now. What ya think guys. The Bantam coupe body will go on next after I'm done with the inside skin. Remember, we ran this as a dragster and a coupe. Just a matter of removing the coupe body.

  6. Lookin good! 3003 is a soft grade, .050 would have been alot easier to work with.
