I don't know about you guys, but I got tears in my eyes. Merry christmas indeed. http://www.king5.com/on-tv/evening-...present-from-the-Christmas-past-78924722.html
That is a cool story all around. Good father, appreciative loving son, tight family. Thanks for posting it my day is better for having watched it.
Excellent. What a tribute. Those parents and grandparents sure did a good job of raising their children. There is hope for the future.
I looked for years to find a '37 Chevy coupe I could afford to redo for my dad. It was the car my folks had when I was born and they had it long enought for me to have a few vague memories. The family album holds many pictures of the car with me and my parents and dogs in different scenes. I never told him of my quest and he passed away about 5 years ago without ever knowing. I'll never know but I thought it might have helped to bridge the gap in our relationship that we were never able do right up to his death. This story brought tears to my eyes also.................for different reasons. Frank
Great story. It's seeing things like this that make me wonder do my children see me as the kind of father that they want to make so happy that they would go to that extent and do something that thoughtful for. Have I been good enough as a father to earn that kind of admiration from them.
I've wanted to do this for my dad too...one of these days, when I have the extra cash I'm gonna buy him the 68 Camaro that he sold when he found out he was going to be a dad. Great story!
Man that is something....hits home with me for sure. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. Thanks for posting this Magnus.
