More progress. The black and white is close to my dream. Thanks Johnny, and Garon.
Looking good my friend. As the girl with the sharp teeth said. I won't be long.
LOL, Owen, you make my day.
Looking good Jim. Glad Johnny & Garon are helping you along. Great job guys.
Hot summer, many things to do. Moving along. Great work.
Who owns the black and white one and is there more info on the build available? Thanks,Bob
I picked the pic off of Your favorite roadster here on the HAMB. If I knew how I would give you a link.
Wow looks awesome. Getting closer
Progress pics. Really makes me feel good that things are moving along. I will have to take the correct trans to the car. mine will be closed d/s. Thanks.
More progress pics. Thanks to Garon, and Johnny.
Those are some nice weld beads on that front crossmember!
car is on the ground now and almost ready for me to get back on it.
Moose did a photoshop for me so I can have something to look at.
Not sure but I think I want the reverse of this.
Getting closer to coming home. I am working on the F1/model a steering box and the 48 ford s wheel.
Now for a plan to get the r/e down.
Count down is on Nov of 21 is a planned drive date.
Just finishing up a 25 head sprinkler system for my back yard. Sure helps when I have someone looking after my wife.
Pics are what I wanted to see. The plates are where the bones go. Taillights are perfect.
First pic. The men that made it happen, Johnny Porter, Garon Lamb, Mason Pressley. First 2 put the body together for me, and Mason is the the driver of the truck and trailer.
This could not have been accomplished without all of their efforts.
Last 2 pics are at home ready to get on with many other things.
Thanks all for getting me this far.
Easy day today. Chasing a 180 amp welder, went to the wrong place. Now that is first on tomorrow.
With the car in the shop, and sorting out where everything is, looking at the car and seeing where to start. I put the modified F1 steering box in place and saw how long the shaft is. Something else to modify.
I have started on a list ,so I can start getting things done. It is going to be slow.
Car has been home a week, and nothing done, except the steering box.
Too many have to do's. Finished up a drainage problem, have the welder, waiting on a helmet.
Joy has been off track for the past 2 weeks, there is no time to get to work.
It will get better.
Thanks all for being behind me.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Your doing a great job.
I like the blue but then I’m biased on that color. Car is looking good and the guys are killing it for you.
A lot got done on the car and should put it closer to being done. Did you get your transmission assembled?
If you going to shorten the steering shaft and haven’t rebuilt the box yet you could cut the box end and cut a key slot and machine the end down to fit the gear back on, just a thought.
Car is looking great. Best to you and Joy.
Trans is together, little tight on the sliding gears. Another job.
Good tip on shortning the shaft.
Joy has progressed into what the drs call stage 5, but in excellent health. Just requires more time. Thanks for asking.
Small things getting done, just not to the car.
