It's the first vid as of Wednesday morning.

Fellow HAMB'er Tim Conder REALLY GETS IT, don't you think?

"We did it for love" says it all for Tim's quest. Downright spiritual in it's mechanical beauty.

Even if you're just a 1% car guy, this will make you weep in awe and joy.

Conder has a retarded level of passion for what he does, and has been through a lot to get to this stage. Things seem to be on the verge of taking of off for Tim. There has been a huge cheering section waiting to hear that dragster fire.

Thanks for posting this Jimmy! My teeth felt like Pez. My ribcage turned to marbles. After the last ten years (but I actually got this idea when I was 6 so, 38?) and all the crazy !@#$ it's taking to make this happen, I think "retarded" sums it up pretty well. Come to think of it...I've never met a sad retarded person....sign me up!

Holy crap! That was just too cool. Must have felt good after so long and I think the big grin says how much it was worth the wait. Congrats Tim. One thing though, you might want to start it outside once you start tipping the can.:D Thanks for sharing this with us. Mike

Well that boy was happier than a puppy with two peters after the fire up.

I've seen that smile/grin before. Takes about a week to slowly fade and just a flash to come back when you remember it.

Tim been following the odyssey or should I say 'Odd'yssey for the duration. You did it. You did it your way and you got there.

Good on you boy and also to all your support folks that helped in all the little ways.

Someday I hope to see that in person.

  17. I hope that Tim can make his vision become reality. To see BOTH his dragsters charging down the quarter, slicks screeming for mercy, spilling burnt nitro out the zoomies, will be a sight to truely behold. This is truely the way drag racing is ment to be.
