got the drivers side of the buick headlight graft welded up solid,,,,,decided not to use the floating bar grille i made (for sale in classifieds)..made a frame from 3/4 counduit,,after i get it chrome plated, it will get expanded metal in the opening and some cool little oval shaped chrome drawer pulls,,,,i mocked up (in cardboard,,hahaha)the next pieces i have to fabricate,,the half circle fill-in piece for the hood, rounded corners for the hood, and grille piece,,,,,,,i will horizontally slit the front of the hood from the center to the edge, push the pieces down to meet the grille shell (if you look close at the pics, you can see there is now a gap between the edge of the hood and the merc shell), and fill the small triangular openings with metal,,,,,,,

Very nice touch on the grill, fits the overall look of the car better than the bar.
