    If you dump the booster, change the M/C to a smaller diameter. Will be pretty close to the same and nothing hanging down.

    I'm looking into mounting a skid plate, its just a good idea. No plans to do away with the booster though, pretty happy with the car as is.

    Lol, this is one of those body styles that just wouldn't work as a highboy or gasser; as my buddy says "low and slow, save your dough"

    Not commenting on the OPs car or others cars. No part of a car should hang below the scrub line. I have seen cars with retro fitted boosters hanging way below the scrub line - with skid plate installed making the car hang even more below the skid line. Not cool.
